Christmas is coming…and who wouldn’t want a vampire under the mistletoe..?
Wait, you wouldn’t?Oh, the bitey thing? Light’s redeemed – off the crimson – so imagine him…Yeah, that’s better.
Assuming the eternal lovers of night aren’t getting snack happy on your neck, which vampire would you like to cozy up to this Christmas? OK then – what vampire series do you want to escape into?
I ran a Christmas contest to discoveryour favourite vampire…and it turned out Light in RebelVampires was high up on your list to appear tied up pretty in a bow under the Christmas tree.
Here are the other vampires who rock your world:
Amanda Morgan: ‘Tage in the Frenzy series.’
Nicole Nixon: ‘LOVE Theo (David) and Kate (Selene) from the Underworldseries. I love the dark brooding semi snark nature.’
And the winner? Mary Brannian
‘Jean-Claude. Tall, dark, handsome, and he seems the perfect blend of man and “monster”.’
Man v Monster – that battle of the demon v humanity. Light struggles with it in Rebel Vampires. It’s at the heart of a vampire anti-hero.
Stephanie L Herman: ‘Light is my favorite… He’s strong, compassionate and sexy. What’s not to love? He fights for those he loves.’

With only two days left before Blood Dragonsand Blood Shacklesreturn to their original price here’s a look at the bestselling new fantasy series that’s being compared to Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles:
There are three people in this affair…and two of them aren’t human. In a divided paranormal London, Light is the rebel vampire of the Blood Lifer world. Since Victorian times he’s hidden in the shadows with Ruby – a savage Elizabethan. But he’s keeping a secret from her, which breaks every rule in Blood Life.
“At heart, this is a love story…very poetic and it tackles big questions about life and death…”- British Fantasy Society
1960s London. Kathy is a seductive singer. But she’s also human. When the two worlds collide, it could mean the end. For both species.
When Light discovers his ruthless family’s horrifying experiments, he questions whether he should be slaying or saving the humans he’s always feared.
Now he’s trapped in a race against time to save them all.
A rebel, a red-haired devil and a Moon Girl battle to save the world – or tear it apart.

Light is the bad boy vampire of the Blood Lifer world. Since Victorian times he’s hidden in the shadows. But not now. When he’s bought by his Mistress, Light fights to escape. If he doesn’t, he’ll never solve the conspiracy behind the Blood Club.
5* “Light is back and he’s his usual charming, funny, wry, ballsy self… A story about the triumph of hope and love over evil.” – Margarita Morris, The Good Author
WELCOME TO THE BLOOD CLUB
Who are these ruthless humans? And who betrayed the secret of the Blood Lifer world?
WHERE THE PREDATORS
Grayse is the slaver’s daughter. She buys Light, like he’s a pair of designer shoes. So why does Light feel so drawn to her? Especially when his family is still in chains. Will he risk everything – even his new love – to save them?
BECOME THE PREY
A stunning revelation leads Light to an inconceivable truth. If he can face his worst terrors, he can save his family and his whole species from slavery.
Maybe he can even save himself.

There were thrills. Laughter. Tears… A roller coaster of a… All right, bit carried away there. Point is my blog tour is over. Finito. At an end. Thank you to Marieanne and all the hosts – you were blinding! So here are the highlights of last week.
Readeropolis: ‘I see a novel happening in my mind; it’s like I’m translating it down. Tarantino has said he does the same. Apart from he probably said it in a cooler, more American way.’
Laurie’s Paranormal Thoughts and Reviews: ‘I know the end of a novel before I’ve even written the first line. It’s like being a chauffeur of a Limousine full of VIPs (the readers) – I don’t set off on a journey without first checking the car’s not going to breakdown and I know the route!’
And right now? Blood Dragons is featured in the Thanksgiving Book Fair. It ends tomorrow. So have a nose through the books on sale and grab yourself some bargains.
Talking of sales… This is the last week of Blood Dragons’and Blood Shackles’ sale. They’re at 0.99 until 30th November. Then they’ll be returning to original price.
This week Blood Dragonsalso broke Best Seller Lists in multiple categories in both America and the UK for the first time. So now’s a good time to escape into Blood Life…

Escape into a supernatural world of love, revenge and redemption, where vampires are both predator and prey.

It’s a dangerous game to love your slave. When your whole species is enslaved – and it’s the humans who are acting like the monsters – how far would you go to free your family?
I love original characters. Complex, unique, powerful. Male or female.
That’s why I wrote an anti-hero in Blood Dragons, yet there are also two powerful women. And not a damsel in sight. Ruby – her role..? Now that’s an interesting question. But Kathy’s the heroine. Because bravery comes in different flavours.
In Blood Shackles Grayse is as much the anti-hero as Light.
Here’s Three Original Fantasy Heroines:
Jaenelle Angelline in The Black Jewels Trilogy: Anne Bishop. A witch. Outcast. In one of the most complex and original matriarchal based fantasies. Ever. Plus there’s unicorns…
Lillian in A Gargoyle and Sorceress Tale series: Lisa Blackwood. A sorceress and Avatar in an unusual urban fantasy coupling. The clue’s in the title.
Ashley Currigan in Dying Ashes series: Annathesa Nikola Darksbane & Shei Darksbane. What do you do when you’re dead? Your only allies are a wizard and a vampire? And your best friend is missing? Turn a little monster…
In another blinding week of touring, here’s Five of the Best Guest Posts and Interviews:
Inside the Mind of a Slave: This Is No Bridget Jones’s Diary – Long and Short Reviews. If you knew your private thoughts were being read by your captor, how would it change what you wrote? And who can face the flayed truth without flinching?
If You Want To Cook and Eat Like a Vampire – Books Chatter. Blood Lifers nosh human food. Light? He loves Italian. The pics are so gorgeous, you’ll be licking the screen.
My Scariest Moment, Best Ever Fan Letter and Sneak Peek at Blood Renegades – My interview with The Pen Muse.
Creating an Anti-hero – Fabulous and Brunette. Dark, complex, struggling on an individual journey of redemption..? You may have an anti-hero on your hands.
Oi, hang on a tick, you’ve missed one…
And that would be An Interview With a Vampire…and His Name Is Light – Archaeolibrarian. Light frees himself from my shackles (couldn’t resist), and gets his own interview. Only seems fair…
With Blood Dragons on the Dark Fantasy Amazon Best Seller List and both Blood Dragons AND Blood Shackles booting their way onto Vampire SuspenseBest Sellers this last week has been… exciting.
All right..understatement. If I was Light right now? I’d be on a wild whirlwind of joyous crimson carnage. Me? I settled in to write the third book – Blood Renegades. Any excuse to listen to its music…seriously, you’re going to love it.
Whilst I’ve been peeking in on the Lists and sauntering into events (yeah, there is an online saunter), still being as much a fantasy fanatic as ever, here’s Three Fantasy Writers Who Make You Think:
C. J. Rutherford: Souls of the Never. YA fantasy/science fiction as it should be. Alternate realities? Time travel? Dragons? All present and correct, sir.
John G. Hartness:Heaven Help Us. Urban fantasy just how I like it – dark – with a side order of immortal demon hunter, werewolves and Homeland Security.
Patty Jansen: Icefire Trilogy. Did I say I liked dark? This is gritty, shocking and don’t take the warnings lightly… But the world building? Class act.

In a divided paranormal London, one bad boy vampire’s dangerous hidden love could bring about the end of the world – unless he can play the role of hero and save both species – and maybe even himself.
